About Music Cars & Kulture

The story behind a creative studio dedicated to documenting and elevating the people and scenes where music and car culture truly live.

About Music Cars & Kulture

Who We Are

Music Cars & Kulture (MCK) is a creative studio and culture brand built where hip-hop, custom cars, and real garage hustle collide. We produce documentary content, live events, and cultural experiences that honor heritage while creating pathways for the next generation.

Founded by Stan Wright, MCK operates at the intersection of music, automotive culture, and live entertainment—developing platforms that give voice to builders, artists, and communities whose stories deserve to be told on a national stage.

What We Do

Content Production

We create premium documentary series, unscripted content, and digital media that spotlight authentic culture. Our flagship production, Straight Out The Garage, follows Lil Eazy-E and the lowrider community coast to coast, documenting real builders, clubs, and shops turning garage hustle into generational legacy.

MCK productions blend cinematic storytelling with grassroots authenticity—no manufactured drama, no scripted storylines. Just real people, real garages, and real stories designed for streaming platforms, broadcast, and social media.

Live Events & Experiences

We produce festivals, car shows, touring events, and cultural activations that bring communities together. From coast-to-coast documentary tours with legendary car clubs hosting their own city's event, to music festivals celebrating hip-hop and automotive culture, MCK creates experiences that move beyond the screen.

Current Productions:

•       Straight Out The Garage - Documentary series and 12-city national tour with Lil Eazy-E

•       Maui Lani Fest - Music and culture festival in Maui, Hawaii

•       Doing It Wright Festivals - Multi-event platform celebrating music, cars, and culture

Artist & Talent Management

Through Frequency Fish Management, MCK represents artists, builders, and cultural figures who embody authenticity and independence. We develop careers, negotiate partnerships, and create opportunities that align with our core values—respecting heritage while building sustainable futures.

Our Approach

Authenticity First

We don't manufacture culture—we document and celebrate what's already there. Real clubs, real shops, real builders who've been grinding for decades. Our role is to provide platform, production support, and respect while letting communities tell their own stories.

Heritage Meets Innovation

MCK honors cultural roots (lowriding's Chicano origins, hip-hop's street foundation) while embracing evolution. We connect OGs with the next generation, preserving knowledge while pushing culture forward through new platforms, partnerships, and content formats.

Community-Driven

Our productions are built in partnership with the communities we document. Hosting clubs control their city's event. Builders guide their own narratives. Revenue is shared. Legacy is documented. We succeed when communities succeed.

Multi-Platform Strategy

One story lives across multiple formats: 45-60 minute documentary episodes for streaming, 150+ social media shorts, live events with thousands in attendance, podcast deep-dives, and digital experiences. Every platform serves a purpose—meeting audiences where they already are.

Our Values

Authenticity – Real stories, real people, real culture. No shortcuts, no compromises.

Heritage – Honoring where we come from while building where we're going.

Community – Elevating grassroots builders, independent artists, and underdog stories.

Craftsmanship – Respecting technical skill, artistry, and dedication in every field.

Legacy – Creating content and experiences that preserve culture for future generations.

Independence – Supporting entrepreneurship and self-determination in music and garage culture.

What Makes MCK Different

We Honor Both Worlds

Music Cars & Kulture isn't just about cars or just about music—it's about the culture that exists where both intersect. From Eazy-E's lowriders in N.W.A. videos to modern artists building custom collections, we document the authentic relationship between hip-hop and automotive culture that's been there from the beginning.

We Put Communities First

When MCK produces an event, local clubs aren't just participants—they're hosts, partners, and owners. We cover production costs, provide national platform, share revenue, and document legacy. Communities control their story; we provide the tools to tell it right.

We Build Sustainable Models

Every MCK production considers long-term impact: How does this help the next generation? How do we preserve culture while creating economic opportunity? How do partnerships support independence rather than exploit it? We build platforms that last beyond one season or one event.

We Deliver Premium Quality with Grassroots Soul

MCK productions have cinematic documentary quality, streaming platform distribution, and national tour infrastructure—but the soul is grassroots. We bring professional resources to authentic stories, proving that real culture deserves premium treatment.

It’s the flagship MCK project, built around real garages, car builds, and neighborhood businesses, treating car culture as a living extension of hip-hop, family, and generational wealth—not just a backdrop.

In addition to production, Focused Entertainment operates (or powers) the first‑window platform where Straight Out the Garage premieres, holding an exclusive 90‑day window before any secondary licensing to services like Netflix, Hulu, or FAST outlets. It also leads on festival submissions, awards strategy, and downstream distribution deals, negotiating and structuring those agreements on behalf of the series and its partners.
